Yes, brown CXL. Feet are still a bit sore today, mind but nowhere near as bad as I feared.

I've never felt a new pair of Whites was a torture to break in, I might have been lucky but all the ones I own/ have owned have been extremely comfortable from the first wear.

I imagine it's highly dependant on the shape of your feet. Guess you and I are the lucky ones

Just bought a pair- should be here in 8 weeks.  Hopefully they come sooner, but I doubt it.

My White's were a breeze. My Wescos took about a year to break in.

i had the nomads before but 58 panhead got it off me.  theyre great boots feels like your wearing a pair of smoke jumpers.

but id rather get the boss.

i broke in my wesco boss in black oil in 1 week.  i put pecards and heat gun maybe 3 layers innit. and walked for a week in them ( 12 hrs a day)

my boots have been aching my feet to hell my whole trip to japan.. wore them all trip long and walked in them at least 10 hours a day. they are still hard as feck…. will these ever soften up to be the comfy pair of white's they are claiming they are? or will these feel like pavement forever. Am seriously considering a re-sole... or an insole..
