The glue is strong, the pics are a bit misleading. I wasn't 100% happy with what was done, but it works and it was cheap, they'll go to Spokane for the star treatment in the spring, completely new resole, double leather rather than single.

Don't you guys slip/fall a lot on cobbles/stony ground when it's wet and you wear leather soles? I had to get my leather 1000 miles rubbered.

I enjoyed picturing this.  I don't wear my leather soles on ice.  If need be, I wear some other shoes and put the leather soles on once I get to work.

How much do they roughly cost?  Any suggestions on size if i wear 8.5 in Red Wing and I am a US 9?

Bakers will ask you to draw around your foot and scan it and email them the scan.  They will tell you what size you need

White's are crazily expensive in the Japanese market. You can get the same boots from buildaboot.com for almost 1/3 the price. Gosh..
