I hear you, Raf. But I think ample argument can be made that this isn't a simple shirt. But I agree, for the casual fan, $370 is an exorbitant amount to pay.

so much over cost when the true question is value to the buyer. some say 200 used jeans is ridiculous yet we have a thriving buying and selling market filled with inventory which moves. could be argued art which is just colors & paper isn't worth much, but we have museums filled to the brim with works deemed as priceless. great novels are just again ink & paper but yet still millions of people purchase these thoughts put on paper.
wait i'm making too much sense and these are supposed to be rants. so what was i talking about, oh yeah value is all up to the buyer. so stop being so logical & buy your chrome plated bentleys or soak your feet in louis XIII. it's only money. if you a trust fund baby or are on welfare or fall some where in between, it's only MONEY.

Even with Kiya's fixed margin pricing, I still think about it in terms of supply and demand, even if you think like MikeC that some or all of this demand is empty hype. If the market doesn't value Roy's time enough to justify two hours and certain materials per shirt, I'm sure he'll figure out a way to make a cheaper shirt, or reassess the value of his time…

Sir McLain, i think it is a great conversation about Mr. Roy & you make a great point. in fact it's too great to be wasted in the rant section. that's my first rant, hahahaha.
here's my second rant. all the folks on the side window shopping talking about what they would & wouldn't spend is really funny to me. as you all might be aware, we are on a forum that is a vehicle for a pretty expensive lifestyle brand (sorry i'm not calling Iron Heart a clothing brand with the international following it is much more, almost like Ralph Lauren for the want to be biker rugged set & no disrespect intended by my comments just how i see it). don't think i'm making any point, that's just a straight rant.
as this is rants i won't apologize for my run on forever sentences & lack of any sort of form.
rants roll like that, hahahahahahaoh & i got to decide between sod & seeds for my lawn, this is some bullsh!t

hahahahahaha, gradification like grading, like lawn care and stuff. swear it writes itself. maybe sod in the front & seed the back. . . landscaping is eating up my Iron Heart budget.

this is great. i think the place has never been better. so much backstabbing and behavior befitting to folks that wear tampons all year long has mostly left the forum.

I am a huge fan of the Ignore List. I recommend it often. There are days when I wish I still used it myself.
