      @thomasnunnally:

      Car doors frozen shut this morning.  I had to pry one open.  The other took about 20 minutes of warming up before I could force it with my shoulder.

      First day I regret giving the wife the garage…

      if this just happened cuz the door seals were frozen together, then just try and put some vaseline (or some other heavy grease/wax) on them! should prevent them from freezing together again!…

          Good suggestions….car is a 2002 Hyundai Accent I just want to keep running for another year or so, I want to keep the cost low.  I feel like an idiot for not considering the silicone spray...my dad would be disappointed in me.

          If the car was newer, I would def go with the remote starter.  Most of my neighbors have those.

          Diesel is fine in the garage without any extras.  At least so far....hasn't hit -30 yet....though I think one of those heated blankets on the engine would do the job.

              Have to keep this in mind.  I can't sell or dispose of it in Canada, so I will have to do something with it in the near future.

                      I suspect that is why they included that I can't "dispose" of it in Canada.

                      Though, I am not sure who is policing it.

                      It is still running pretty strong though, so I don't see having a problem getting it back to Philly.

                      Funny story though….it did breakdown (alternator went) right after I crossed the border on my way to my wedding.  That sucked.

                            You trying to get some squats in and some dumbass is standing in the rack doing curls?

                            Gym etiquette drives me crazy and I think it's personal trainers who are the worst. There's a massive trainer at my gym who's constantly in the way.

                              I do curls in the squat rack. I never wipe my sweat off equipment, either.  I like to just drop plates in random spots, too.  Re-racking weights is for OCD losers.

                                  Having a gym in my home (well, it's a giant rubber mat and a bunch of kettlebells) is the best investment in time and money I've spent in awhile.

                                  Pet peeves: the guy who screams while doing 225lbs on the bench press (it's not that heavy, dude), the guy who never wipes down, the middle aged housewife that doesn't understand "working in" (the rules of the gym are right there on the wall), the guy who uses chalk, the little kids running around, and the jackass that throws dumbbells. There was even a guy who used to walk around the gym with a small boombox and carried it like a pie

                                  Oh, and the guy who walks around offering unsolicited advice on your form. Although that's easily remedied if you don't mind being rude

                                  I know violence is not the answer, I got it wrong on purpose
