People are idiots, I sold Tommys old Batman pedal bike on ebay last week, the buyer paid straight away. I had specified collection only, and have messaged the buyer three times with my address and phone number asking when they will be collecting the bike.

This morning I receive the following message…

"Hi,

Not got the bike yet, can you let me know when it will be posted"

Seriously.......

I'm no suprised at all, to read is a very big challenge for a lot of folks  >:(…

I have replied....

"Please refer to the auction terms, which specify collection only".

yeah me too, but doen't help as we know, so staying friendly is the way to go… doesn't mean you could not hide some little sarcasm in the lines, they obiviously will not read it proper anyway....

i had to grab Triple Terrors 55,,,,so i know how you feel m8,,,at the end of the day there is/are so many quality IH items out there,,whether they be new/old/worn/unused..you just gotta reign it in once in a while,,,i had to,,,its some times better to have say 10/15 various items that you know will be worn,,,rather than have 100/150 various items that may never see the light of day,,,the way i looks at it is,,,find and buy what does it for you now,,,enjoy em,,,and keep yer other eye peeled for bargains

WC: "Well I'm sorry, but that's just Eddie"

C: "Is there something wrong with him?"

WC: "He has only got one eye…"

C: "Oh, oh....."

C: "Well... I think it's disgraceful that he's working here"

C storms off.

True enough, but that constant irritation at the unending stupidity of your fellow human beings can wear a fella down.  I know that when I left the retail/service industry, I became a nicer, more relaxed person.

fecking week…..

and I don't know if this is just me, but why on earth is it always necessary to act like a complete asshole to bring companies, that get money from you for their service, to do their fecking job right.... I just don't get this...

So I went to Austin for my summer break. Everything was dandy till my mom asks me "How many jeans did you bring" I replied with "one". She gave me a lecture on how dirty my jeans were -_-. I will endure this for my IH's

Well, arabit, clothes, and that includes jeans, are meant to be washed on regular basis.

Would you wanna wear a T-shirt, say,  3 months without washing?

At least he was in Austin.  Wearing filthy, smelly jeans and looking homeless fit right in.

(And before anyone gets offended, I like Austin; it's a fun town.)
