Thanks Rocket :). I have a feeling I'll need it. Management are all smiles and gratitude when you agree to "favours" and then somehow their memories get a little fuzzy when it comes to paying dues.

Apparently there are a few sporting events happening this year that the "Galactic Empire" (Knutsford branch) thinks that the staff might like to watch.

So, a tv ( an actual working colour!! flat-screen!!) was installed in the staff room on Friday.

So far I've had to suffer through Home Alone 2 and numerous repeats of Jeremy Kyle…

No thought went into this at all.

I was referring to the Hilary Swank abomination. I refuse to acknowledge the existence of the later version, as I cannot say a bad word about Jackie Chan, and therefore have stopped watching his movies.

Wasted the last 2 months of my life training a new kid and he calls today 2 hours before he's supposed to be there and says "I'm moving out west because I feel like I have salt water in my veins"

I wanted to say "hey dumbass, there's an ocean 3 hours east of here!!!"

Don't get me started on the "newer" Karate Kid.  In Hot Tub Time Machine, they make a hilarious reference about the main dick in the skeleton costume.

There will only ever be one Daniel Larusso. The last movie was set in china right? With the kid learning Kung-Fu, not Karate? And still they called it the Karate Kid  :-\

Why is it that when the children stay up super late because we're on vacation they still get up at the same time?  I've had approximately 6 hours of sleep in the last 48 and those two are bouncing off the walls.  I may have to take them out and bury them in the desert to get some rest.

Sitting around all afternoon waiting for my car to be ready and after all that its not going to be done until tomorrow 

To counterbalance that it was great to see TT, Giles and Paula this morning, so I guess all in all could be worse?
