Just worked out my overtime that I'm owed in monetary terms (as opposed to time in lieu). Comes to: a vest and a cap (estimated pricing of caps).
Not that I'll get the time back as cash…
Can't wait to see the look on my Managers face when I ask him though. or hear his excuses...
Maybe I'll demand the time back from last year as well... That'll be fun ;).

I feel your pain mate… Fortunately I seem to have a better relationship with me boss... There was an accident 2nd week he was in and me yelling to him through the phone that helped though... I'm always corteous and will pretty much do anything to help, but there are lines... He learned pretty quickly...

Thanks Rocket :). I have a feeling I'll need it. Management are all smiles and gratitude when you agree to "favours" and then somehow their memories get a little fuzzy when it comes to paying dues.

Apparently there are a few sporting events happening this year that the "Galactic Empire" (Knutsford branch) thinks that the staff might like to watch.
So, a tv ( an actual working colour!! flat-screen!!) was installed in the staff room on Friday.
So far I've had to suffer through Home Alone 2 and numerous repeats of Jeremy Kyle…
No thought went into this at all.

I was referring to the Hilary Swank abomination. I refuse to acknowledge the existence of the later version, as I cannot say a bad word about Jackie Chan, and therefore have stopped watching his movies.
