For obvious reasons, I already love the Hop Hog…  🙂

(It also gets stellar reviews: http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/feral-hop-hog-india-pale-ale/90844/)

I would guess from your last couple of posts in this thread that you're in Belgium? and you can get Hop Hop? I'm impressed! Until recently you could barely get it in liquor stores here where it's from! The brewery, Feral, really punch above their weight.  Hop Hog won a reasonably big Australia wide beer poll, not bad for a brewery in the outskirts of little old Perth. I've got a visit booked in for next weekend.  I'll be sampling their annual "Tusk" IIPA, which I'm really looking forward to:

I'm a big fan of founders.. they started cold linked distribution to Perth about 6 months ago.  Loving the all day IPA.

Curious to hear what you think of the Betelgueze.  I liked it, but didn't think it was worth buying again, since it was pretty damn expensive.

I balked at the price a bit for such a small bottle, but it's been catching my eye for so long that I just had to give it a shot.
Think I paid 16 bucks for it, hopefully it's worthwhile.

Drank most of these. Best in show was (prepare to be shocked) Crooked Stave Nightmare on Brett. I'll discuss others later. The Allagash and the Almanac were outstanding as well. I finished the night with my first Blind Pig. Russian River Rules

I think I paid $17, so about the same. It was good, just that I've had similar and better beers for less.  So for me, it was worth trying, just not worth having again.

My favourite beer is a local one from here in Perth, Australia called Hop Hog.  Somewhere between an American pale ale and IPA, on the sweeter and fruitier side of things:

Don't think it's distributed overseas.. Favourite beers of mine that non Australians may be familiar with are Sierra Nevada pale and Weihenstephan Hefe.

Do you fancy Little Creatures? Had a great night at the pub in Perth a fee years ago. First time trying kangaroo, loved it.
