And you’re going to make it disappear. Couldn’t resist. Nice to see some stouts these days.

I just bought a new house… it needs gutting completely and rebuilding and it also protected for its historical significance which means years of filling out building applications. I needed a beer and this one seemed big and stupid enough for the occasion.

Too soon? Surprised to see this at my local liquor store, and I’ve really liked a lot of their beers in the past etc. Any way it’s brewed with cinnamon, allspice, cloves, nutmeg, and vanilla, but no pumpkin. It’s spicy tasting, but not surprisingly no pumpkin flavor. Needs a scoop of vanilla ice cream.  8.8 on the alcohol

Attaching lines up the south facing chimney has been an amazing hop growing life hack. Using my own hops in my own beer will happen this year!

It’s been a fascinating experiment. This is actually the second harvest already this season. The top half of the vines went first and threw out some beautiful buds that we harvested a month ago, and now the bottom half has shown out and produced these lovely’s! A chimney turns out to be a perfect setup for hop vines!!

Haven't completely wrapped my head around the hazy-craze, but tough to branch out these days without em. Also, I've been drinking straight from the can alot more since C-19–feel like the beer goes flat quicker when poured into a glass (possibly due to 'crowler' fills/mobile canning, just guessing though)

TRUTH. If you open a beer and drink from the can, you can drink from that same can several hours later in the middle of the night when you wake up to pee. If you open a beer and pour it into a glass, that beer will be flat several hours later.

                                I camp a lot.

Obviously the pour and the increased surface exposure to air means the beer goes flat quickly in a glass, but chemical residue on the glass, from washing detergents or previous beverages will also cause this. A glass that has been used for milk should never again be used for beer, no matter how it has been washed.
