What's your favorite Beer?

Last year my local brewery collaborated with Jamesons on a barrel aged stout. It sold out in minutes, but I was fortunate enough to get 2 bottles. Since it was so successful Jamesons gave them a lot more barrels to put stout in,and I was able to get 8 bottles this year. I,obviously, think its delicious, but I’d put it up against any barrel aged stout. Would love for some of you guys to taste it,as I would welcome your opinion. $10 for a 25OZ bottle isn’t bad either.

I’d love to try it! For the import duty into Norway though, I could just come out to NYC instead [emoji28]
Ok it isn’t that bad. If you want to do a bottle swap let me know.
In the meantime, this was my big ass xmas beer treat. 15.9%abv yet smooth as baby’s bottom. If that baby was the love child of Jason Momoa and Scarlett Johansen…

That looks like Rocket Fuel, funny I was just recently in Boulder, but didn’t have any Avery beer. I’m going to cellar some of the Craic, and maybe some day you will be in NYC and we can drink it together.
I swear you wouldn’t know it was that strong. Great brew.
I like your plan Jett. I like it a lot.

Any recommendations of local breweries you particularly like @denimhead918 ? Just moved out to the area a few weeks ago and I'm trying to get a feel for the beer scene in the region…
Suarez Family Brewery is already on the list of places to check out...

Pm me and I’ll give you the in depth review of the area. Hudson valley in beacon, sloop in Elizaville/east fishkill, equilibrium in middle town, industrial arts in garnerville, Newburg brewing in Newburg are all solid. All except for Newburg are world class imo

What do you wanna trade for, Jett

That’s last years version. I was told that this years rendition is aged a little bit less. I can’t honestly say that I remember what last years tasted like, maybe a little more of the barrel/oak if anything. I wasn’t thinking of trading, and if I was,I wouldn’t know where to start.

@kkibbey23 I actually didn’t go to the taproom. This was at a friends holiday party. I preferthe double sunshine. I agree it was one of the best beers I’ve had to date

I need it all @Seul I have a big black hole in me that needs filling….. leave it out Reuben.

Interesting taste. Never had a chocolatey beer before. The chocolate overpowers the peanut butter. Not sure if I like it yet.

Never had that one,but Terrapin Brewery has a chocolate/peanut butter beer, and it’s great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I know that sounds like heresy, but just in case your IH gear is getting loose on you.
I typically reserve the vanilla ice cream for root beer [emoji41] This porter I’m drinking has an aftertaste I’m not too fond of. That may change after finishing the rest of them
