Evo after 3 months of almost daily use. Unfortunately it's getting too cold for it now.

Cool that there is a restock. It's still my daily worn jacket and I love it. It's amazing how warm it makers you feel if layered with something warm underneath. It's so windproiof and keeps in the warmth that it feels pretty much as warm as my winter jackets.

However I'm curious how it will age as some spots Show a lot of Brown peaking through. Are there any examples of really worn in models or the same leather?

Also, as I think the porduct threads lack fitpics lately here's a crosspost of  recent WAYWTs

Goddamn these are beautiful jackets. Looking great guys. I’m pretty sure I want one, but I don’t think I want it in black (or turquoise or red, before anyone brings them up). A tobacco brown though…

You should definitely see them in person. The black is awesome and IMO perfect for this style.

@neph93 it's tea core so the brown is there already  😉

And I agree with @Max Power  about how warm this jacket is. I too wear it every day and I love it. It's like second (thick and warm) skin.

I have an irrational aversion to black leather, so I'm in the same boat, neph.  Ideally, I'd go for something lighter, though, like that natural horsehide Standard & Strange used recently for their jackets.

I was with you guys regarding black leather… then I saw this guys insta and some of his jackets

It peaked my interest enough to get me to buy black and I fell in love as soon as I saw it on me. I also love brown too though.

@summ3rhays what did you use to make your jacket this shiny?

I used Chaimberlain’s leather milk. The hh leather is pretty shiny on its own. This was right after I treated the jacket so it will mellow once dried.

Around 3 months of constant wear. Still im unsure wether i like the fast evo or not. But other than that its my favourite piece of clothing ever period. The measurements and leather are fantastic. The construction of course is ih standard.

New guy here with the question. First off, beautiful jackets, everyone. Im looking at the SE version with hand warmer and lack of side zips. I've been reading this thread and while it was hinted at but not outwardly said I figured id ask. Are the measurements the same between the two? SE has different ones listed than Its website.

                                    Thanks in advance!

SE and IHUK take measurements in different ways with regards to shirts and jeans. I bet it is the same with jackets. Otherwise, these things being made the way they are, there are often variations.

I don’t know about SE but IHUK have videos on their website demonstrating how they measure.

We’ve discussed this a few times and if I remember correctly the only thing we were sure of is that the SE version had longer sleeves. Personally I think that with this kind of investment you might have to consider buying one to try the fit (assuming you don’t live near a SE) and sending it back if it doesn’t work for you as part of the process. I have the IH methods for measuring so ingrained in my brain that the SE numbers don’t mean much to me.

@kpdarb, if someone has one version, most likely they don’t have the other. I was in your position when I looked into the Jacket. First, I decided I wanted the pockets and contacted the guys at Selfedge, Kiya was very helpful in deciding the right size for me. Everything worked out well. ✌️

                                          Wander, you fool!
