…and look just as good 20 years from now. That is and will be a beautiful jacket.

I'd bet it will look better in 20 years.

@Ross I've found buttoning the jacket every time I hang it up breaks in the buttons way quicker.

It's a gorgeous jacket, looking forward to seeing how it evolves over time.

@NickD oh don't worry, years of buttoning XHS, UHR and IHJ-49s has given me the iron thumbs needed for the job 😂

But yeh, it's the same as anything with tough buttons, just a case of working them as much as possible and they loosen in no time

This summer so far has been a real British summer, pouring rain one day and 25 degree sunshine the next, but the silver lining is it's the lord's cheat code for good jacket patina - along with some road grime of course!

@dirtyframer Yeah, I agree. It's a really great and unique jacket because of the very high-quality indigo leather.

@dirtyframer I know—these customs fees are a burden for us, too. Many American customers cancel their orders after finding out that they have to pay about 20% in customs duties. However, we're currently working with UPS to find a solution where we can split the customs fees and sales tax. We're considering covering the shipping costs and customs duties while the customer pays the applicable sales tax in their state. This would be easier (and fairer) to the customer, who wouldn't have to worry about customs fees anymore.
