My Tailgunner arrived today after emailing Debs for the last 3 months and how awesome is Debs! I was after a fitted jacket that I would wear just a t-shirt underneath. Wearing it, it feels perfect but just wondered what you guys think? Please be honest I won't be offended

@jiminstitches dope!!! Is that the Blattwerk leather? For looks great. Those sleeves should come up some with creasing. I think you’ve got a hell of jacket with a hell of a fit.

@Mizmazzle Ah thank you, Its the Natural Italian Veg Tan, Yeah debs said they'd be slightly long but would ride up with wear.

@goosehd The detail is incredible. I gotta say what an absolutely amazing company Simmons Bilt are and Debs has been so awesome. The attention to detail in the emails and getting everything right was great and at no point did I feel rushed. Very Happy

@jiminstitches I’ve seen a few jackets on here that have really stood out fit and finish wise. Your’s is one of them and I’m thinking to myself if I should get the build details from you.
I have enough jackets to last two lifetimes, but your’s has me questioning if I should start working on a third

Looks awesome. How are the sleeves with the gusset zipped up? Would be cool to see more detail of the leather in outdoor light.

This has had me checking the SB website..
£575 for the jacket + £75 the natural horsehide, £650 total? No hidden costs assuming your not getting a custom pattern made?

@T4920 yes so that would be basic price for off the peg size. Process started with me sending all my measurements and of good fitting items. Deb then recommended a size 38 as the base pattern. From there I had 3 adjustments, chest was widened, shoulders altered and I had half an inch off the length. Those 3 alterations were an additional £40.
I then added a 2 way brass zipper and an extra inside pocket and a different lining, I went with olive. Total for that was about an extra £70.
Me and debs did have probably a good 20-30 emails going through measurements.
