@Indigohuntsman  it’s a great looking jacket. Well done.

      Thank you neph93.

And I'm glad that I had bought it in time  😉

          Thank you Kind Sir.

And would it need washing whilst still new, or when needed?

I think it could benefit from an Initial soak, as the fabric is pretty stiff and it will surely drape perfectly after that. I would do it right away, that way you have all the shrinkage out before you start wearing. But if you do, make sure to soak it first, turn it insideout and wash it gentle without too much spin.

Hello Max Power and thank you for the advice.

Does it need to go in the washing machine or can I just soak it in the bath tub, like I did with my Jean's?

Soaking in the tub is ok, but the machine brings out the max. shrinkage.

Thank you Max Power, that's good to know.

Any preference temperature wise, and with or without detergent?
The only gentle wash on my machine is at 30° silk with a 400 spin or I could use another temperature and rinse hold it or the quick wash is at 30° - 15 minutes?

The silk wash would work but I’d use the tub. There’s always a chance of marbling.

I've put new denim in the wash before, and they've came out with lightly faded streaks?

That’s the marbling. A good trick to minimise that risk is to soak thoroughly first. Then wash.

                                    Hello all.

I warm soaked the jacket yesterday, I think it has shrunk a little 🤔
but still stiff. and hopefully will soften out, after wear 😉

Well being short myself, I did look at the other IH denim jackets, and had to choose wisely in fit wise, and chose the best  😛
