    @Hereforthebeer:

I would say the first of many after you have tried it on. Congrats mate!

I'm sure this is just going to start another addiction!
I've already got quite a few Iron Heart tees (which are some of my favorite around) and a few pairs of jeans too.
Now lets just hope I sized right on the shirt! Based on the measurements I should be good with an XL, they're a little smaller and shorter than my Gitman XL's but they all tend to fit me a bit on the big/long side.
Bummed that it's no going to be summer and I won't be able to wear it much, but nonetheless a classic.

Well, summer nights may still be OK.

Not too likely for Texas, but it isn't over 100 here yet!
I'll probably get a handful of days out of it, plus I'll be taking a trip to DC where it'll be a little bit cooler soon.

I tend to imagine Texas as a more hellish version of southern California.

Wouldn't it be cold at night seeing that it appears to be made up of deserts and psuedo-deserts?

Not a terrible comparison, just a bit hotter. But you get used to it!
At least it isn't humid here.

No, SE are only taking the 101 (western) version…

Bad news.  The more we looked at these shirts, the more we noticed a few little things that were not quite perfect.  We are not 100% happy with them, so we are going to stop selling these and the IHSH-101tg.

                  What happens next?

                  1. For those customers to whom we have already shipped, we are in the process of contacting them to work out how we pick up and refund or credit
                  2. All those orders that we have received, but not yet shipped will get cancelled and monies refunded.  We will contact every customer in this situation.
                  3. We are doing a general recall from retailers
                  4. All are going back to Hachioji to determine next course of action

                  Treble damn and sorry,

Man that's a bummer, I just replied to Paula's email.
It'll be hard for me to not open that package on Monday just to see how the fit is since it's my first IH shirt.
                    But I will hold off.

No probs with you opening it and trying it on.  It'll help with sizing the next (I hope) purchase….

Got it, it should most definitely help with some future sizing decisions.
And I'm sure this won't be my last shirt purchase from IHUK or Iron Heart in general!

Fuckkkkkkkkkk. I hope I get a good one. Won't know until I get back in town Friday. This is going to become a very rare shirt.

With less training to spot manufacturing errors, what are some telltale signs we got either a bad or good shirt?

I mean, I can just take pictures too.

I work in a men's shop so I've got to check a lot of the stuff we get in for QC, so I'll go over mine either Monday or Tuesday and see what's up.

Those look like the western measurements. At least I hope they are.

Got mine today. It's definitely one of the bad ones. Not that I ever would have noticed. Good on you guys.

What's so bad about it? Is it stuff you would of noticed without being told about it?

I also received mine today, and it is also one of the defective ones sadly.
I noticed right off the bat that the pockets weren't even, the left chest pocket is higher than the right.
Also when looking at the pattern matching, the arms are pretty off with the back of the shirt.
I didn't really notice any stitching issues though.
Just let me know what I need to do in regards to a return, really bummed because now that I've actually handled an IH flannel I understand what all the fuss is about, and the color on this one is gorgeous. This won't be my last IH shirt that's for sure.
