@Daniel-San oh interesting. Didn’t realize the weight made a difference in the potential twist.

In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

@Heavy_blue 😊 nice! Nothing wrong with a soak at that point, I think I did my first one at around there or even less. I’m sure it’ll turn out awesome

I don’t think it’s the weight so much as the tension in the weave, sanforization, and maybe other factors like pre-skewing.

                        Think it, be it.

Each fabric is so unique. Some might think “jeans is jeans” but if you compare them they’re so different. Glad you dig!

The lighting, btw, is just normal house lighting, no natural light here, and no effects or flash on the photo. I think Iphone does weird things even in regular camera mode.
Another note about the shot of the back pockets. The 18oz is a 777, and the 14oz is a 888, they're both hanging from the beltloops at the same height. Notice how much lower the back pockets are on the 777 on the right. Add that the the fact that the 888 has about 2" more rise. Aside from the necessary added thigh room, this contributes to my reasons for favoring the 888.
