Shucks! I busted my busters. I have no idea how. They are finally not tight (not that they were ridiculously tight before). I have about a full weeks worth of wear on them. I took them to my tailor and he said he wasn't going to try to fix them because of the weight of the jeans, so I tried stitching with my wife's sewing machine, but it wouldn't go through the jeans.  Any ideas?

shot… i feel for you man..

dont know what i can suggest maybe others might have useful tips but maybe you could try repairing by hand instead of machine..the rip doesnt look too big

Cristeza, it's worth a shot…Try taking them to a shoe repair shop, they use size 16 and 18 needles and those
will go through 21 oz. demin. My mom sewed professionally and that's the needle gauge she used to repair
both denim and leather.

Cisteza - can be fixed easily.

I am sure that if you send them to Giles he will get them repaired for you, looks like a weak stitching , happens once in a thousand pairs..

made this acc cz im interested with the busters and have few questions in mind..
for the buster goers, how's the sizing on them ? i see the measurement in se is quite different from this web…i think this web is the most accurate one ?
anyone has fh 3001 ? which one you think is slimmer/tighter on the thigh, 3001 or the busters ?
i wear 3001 in 33 (my true waist), what size do you guys recommend me for this jeans ?

I can fit the 3001 in size 30, thighs are almost the same…rise on the Buster is bit higher, so no crack..

This is good to know, I've been looking at FH recently.  BB still stands strong as better though

I re-discovered the BB's this week end. I pulled my pair out of my pile and tried them on, and, surprise, they fit wonderfully, the color if bad, etc… For some unknown reason I had decided I wasnt too excited by those, but now I kinda like them. Another reason why one should buy them (the IH pants) all. Dont need to wear them right away, cause sooner or later, they'll end up on you. And you'll experience epiphanies just like I did yesterday, and that will be a great feeling... Amen
