        @rovdjurstorget:

Ever since their first cold wash I've been struggling with my 666s 21oz. They used to feel tight but perfect, but since the first wash they've felt annoyingly stiff to walk up stairs, squat and just walk around.

So I stuffed them with stiff couch pillows over the night to see if just 1 cm would stretch.

The results were outstanding and they feel just like they used to

        Creative!

21oz shrinks back to original measurements when washed but stretches out quite easily afterwards. Two days wear (preferably without a belt), and you’re back where you were pre-wash. So this will happen every time you wash, but it will only be a couple of days discomfort before you’re back where you were. Of course this doesn’t account for fluctuations in body size.

            Hey dude,
I'm doing okay. Life has been crazy and busy this past year but I'm hanging in there. Moved to the middle of the Sonoran Desert so I've had to switch to lighter weight clothing  😞

It’s been said before but even the “standard” 21oz is tough! I lost my footing on the path/stream last night rushing down the hill to meet friends. I landed quite hard with one knee on sharp slate fragments and apart from a slightly damp/muddy knee at dinner everything is fine. With lesser jeans I’m sure my knee would have been shredded (probably jeans and flesh).

After wielding the clothes brush this morning almost nothing is visible apart from a very angular fade.

Christmas present to myself arrived early! Thanks Graham for finding a tag 35 with slightly larger thighs. For reference: This is a tag 35"  with thigh 12.7" amd hemmed at 33.5. I am 189cm and 92kg. A little tight on first wear, but works I think.

Tried searching but couldn’t find. Anyone have any insight how these fit compared to something like AG or 3sixteen? I’m a 36 in both. Best fitting pants I have are 3sixteen CT-100x in a 36.

The best would be to compare measurements of your best fitting jeans in the IH way with the respective IH model.

I’ve compared them with the measurements of the actual jeans compared to IH measurements and they seem pretty close. Was just looking for anyone who may have made the jump.

From everything I’ve ordered, it seems IH is very accurate with minimal deviation from their posted measurements.

Just consider the stretch. The 21oz stretches quite a bit in the waist.

More than 1” of stretch? What about the thighs? That’s my biggest issue, beer belly and thick thighs lol

My personal experience with the 21oz is a good inch but some experienced even more. Can’t comment on the thighs in the 666 but wouldn’t expect too much stretch. My thighs are my issues as well but I have a very slim waist wherefore I need different cuts. The thighs on the 666 are to small compared to the waist.

Fwiw, the thighs on my pair which started at 12.25 stretched to just about 12.5 with a good starting fit that wasn't too tight. Wouldn't expect much more than that unless you put them under a lot of pressure and then you might be tempting an early failure.

Yes mine too… 1 to 1.5 inch in the waist. Thighs can be a problem with 666 and from my experience stretch there needs much more patience and wear time.

God has blessed you richly, so get down on your knees and thank him. Don’t forget the less fortunate or God will personally kick your ass. I’d love to do it for him, but I can’t be everywhere. Willie Nelson

Just got mine in the mail. They are much softer and pleasant to wear right out of the package than my 21.5 oz Brave Stars.

What a great resource this forum! The pictures really helped to decide a suitable fit (and weight) for my first pair of IH jeans. But… any idea when these will be restocked?
