I had never - NEVER - such comfortable boots (and I have / had many in my life ^^) .. as my 2 pairs of Foot Patrols.
From the first day …. no break in phase .. no blisters .. no gall .. nothing!
And the gorgeous look of these feckers ..... don't need many words.

Can you give any advise on sizing on the motor patrol last?
Do these fit true to size?
I wear a US 8 in large running lasts (e.g. Alden Barry last and Red Wing boots) and a US 9 in small running lasts (e.g. Viberg 2030 or Red Wing Chukka).

They're just black waxed laces from Viberg. Wasn't a huge fan of the yellow nylon laces.

This is my first pair of boots and I really love them.  The problem is, I think they might be a half size too big but, I am not sure as I am new to boots.  I was wondering opinons?  When laced up its not bad, no real heal slip and I am wearing thin socks.  Below is a pic of of where my big toe ends…appreciate any feedback.

I am by no means an expert on sizing footwear, but that seems like way too much room to me.

@seanocono I appreciate the input.  That was with my heel as far back as it goes (if that makes any difference).  Check the second picture that is with me standing and the boot laced.  It feels pretty decent but, just not sure if a boot should fit more snug than what i have or not.
