@flannel-slut ha…I was just looking at that after I posted. Did you go with a medium? Seems between S&S and Freenote a large won’t be hard to find. Elastic waists sometimes give me fits. Thanks man
-
Love the material on the premium deck shorts. Starting to get a little roping after couple summers. Only thing that holds me back from grabbing them more often is how easy it is for stuff to fall out of the patch pockets. The snap helps but I don’t always want to snap/unsnap and then forget to when I should.
-
@SKT i was deciding between medium and large too and went w the large mostly because of the drawstring/elastic waist but also do not have hang up with the waist bunching some (at least I hope I don’t!)
-
@flannel-slut yeah I get that. I could technically do a medium too but would prefer them looser as opposed to feeling tight. Drawstrings sound key here.
-
@SKT sorry for the slow reply. I usually look for a 30 inch waist on jeans and the small in the deck shorts measure a 32” and I’m good to go with a relaxed comfortable fit. Drawstring definitely helps out and like @flannel-slut said I’d go for the larger size if you’re in between sizes.
-
@TENDREL agreed. The hips are definitely the struggle point on mine. With the way these are cut I’m not sure I’d be able to get my actual waist size over my hips/butt
-
@TENDREL oh dope, I haven’t seen those but I will check them out.

@SKT Vagabond shorts are excellent. I picked up a pair of the green ones last summer and absolutely love them. I'm a true waist 35.5 or so, and the 33s fit great.
-
@americanathreads awesome! That’s exactly the size I’m looking at on their site. Have they shrunk/stretched much?
-
My 3rd Hawaiian button down from Freenote. Great quality!

@Denimhead-0 that blue is dynamite

@SKT haven’t washed yet so not sure on shrinkage. I don’t think I’ve gotten any stretch - maybe marginal. It’s kind of a moleskin type fabric, don’t think there’s too much stretch in it.

Should pair well with some Indigo black
