Agreed on the pocket flaps @veloaudio , to me that's what a CPO should look like.

      Think it, be it.

I've unsuccessfully tried some translate apps so if anyone can help translate this tag I would really appreciate it.

Maybe Ishmael can help… And it's a shame that like most free wheelers stuff it looks long (probably even if you went a size down) since it looks pretty perfect for a cpo!

^He did on Denimbro. He said I won't get any shrinkage. Crushed. I love this shirt. @mclaincausey if you can find me a 17 I will sell you this 17.5 🙂

Doesn't look too long to me. Shoulder is a bit wide, but that's more or less what you get with an overshirt. And the sleeve length leads me to believe that a 17 may be too short.

The guys at DR told me that they wash this shirt regularly and have experienced no shrinkage.

Sorry, didn't see the posts on this page before making the above post.

I called DR to confirm. They said that they have experienced virtually no shrinkage with a wash.

The tag says to dry clean only.

                      @veloaudio:

CPO shirt showed up today. The fabric is amazing. I went with a size 17.5 (Pancho and Lefty sold out of 17 right as I was ordering) which from what I've read is a hard to find size. I bought it as an over-shirt and I think it fits fine except for maybe the length. Here it is over a 21. Thoughts?

I think it looks good, but I like longer shirts and as Chiba says the sleeves will be too short if you size down.

Those are my principles, and if you don't like them…
                      Well, I have others.

Thanks for the comments everyone. The shirt will be off to a new home soon. My quest for a size 17 begins…

^Thanks but the front length is one of those little things that would bug me about the shirt and I wouldn't wear it as much. I have already sourced a 17 which I think will be better in the end. All the sites I have seen list the same sleeve length for the 17 and 17.5 so that should be fine. I want to wear the CPO over my 21, 35, 73(maybe) and 79. I think the 17 will be just fine for that.

I agree. Also, in my experience, if you think a shirt is too big you're not going to wear it. And the sleeve length will probably only change a little if anything… Cool you found a 17 so fast!

Sleeves can be a bit short before they start looking ridiculous IMO. I hope your new one fits you and your old one fits me, this is a grail item for me.

Hoping this works out for VA and MCL. Can you guys post your measurements to help others looking at this shirt who might be between a 17 and 17.5 (including me).

Up until a few days ago there was a 17 at a used shop here priced at $180. But I snoozed and losed.

We're about the same size, but you are a tad lighter and perhaps a little longer legged than me. I think the 17 will fit you very well.

I'm really wondering though how the 17.5 is going to fit MCL.
