any good hill walking boot then - I have asolo and scarpa
or these guys do hunting boots too:
definitely wouldn't be having the hemp on any boot for that purpose

yeah i know thats why i ask if they do the whole between layer thing so the hemp is just for show. i have a few custom H.S Trask which does the trick but wanted one that looks good for every day and practical.
for no good reason really its not like i walk down the street then suddenly run in to the bushes to hunt hahah….
i am the typical "i want one that does it all"

Both of these are really NICE -imho-
8"SHORTSHIFT BOOTS (#87)

I've never actually seen any Vibergs before in the flesh, I can't
believe how heavily built these things are!! The quality is awesome, great
Norwegian welted design, the black Buffalo and blue 21oz denim is a nice combo. Personally
I'm not a big fan of the sole, I'd rather see something with a heel? I would like to have taken these for a test drive around the IH store room to give you the full report, but my feet are a tiny Sz 7 and these samples are a Sz 10Seriously great boots, I need to stat saving!

that looks really good, much better than i thought it would to be honest.

I'm not a big fan of the sole, I'd rather see something with a heel?same here.
but def, the IH tab, needs to be rethought position wise:
do you really need to have that tab at all? you never really see a good quality foot wear with
it's name branded on top/out side. also there is something happening with the top stitching around the opening. -
Giles, hope you don't mind me messing with those photos and moving the position of the iron heart tab..if so let me know and I'll take it down..
but I think this may be a good option for the placement.
