Lovely looking boots
Always had a soft spot for waxed flesh; toss in the olive color and the commando sole and these were not to be denied! Also like the contrast tongue, my only quible is the unstructured toe, but that look should be dissipated by the cap toe. First time Viberg has used this leather, doubt it'll be their last!

I have a pair that I had custom made in 2012 and I absolutely love them. Jason Viberg was great at helping me get exactly what I wanted and properly sized. That said, things have changed a lot in the last six years, and I doubt I'll ever buy another pair, either.
How come?

Still waiting for the boots. A friend of mine in USA bought it for me. He will ship them within a few days.

Just had my offer accepted on these Viberg Engineer boots, size 9, that are now enroute to me. The seller didn't put much down in terms of details. Can anyone shed any light on these for me?

Ugly sneakers is a thing, will be funny when people ask me if I'm up on the ugly Canadian sneaker company viberg.
Think they would look cooler, hahaha I know ridiculous but with that gloxi cut sole I would wear these. Oh and not black cream or beige or navy blue or green would all be sweet
These will be successful just like ironheart lawn/camping chairs

Don't think these are really made for current customers or folks into heritage for lack of a better term to cover what most folks on this forum are into
This is for new customers although I doubt they would say it so they don't alienate the current audience

I can understand why everyone doesn't like, and to be clear I am not arguing for anyone to like these as taste or in my case lack of taste is subjective.
I'm just amused and puzzled by the disdain and almost emotionally response to these go fast shoes.
Pretty sure Nikes make boots and they are loved by law enforcement through out the tri-state area cause they light but sturdy and meet all uniform requirements.
Vans did engineer boots as a collabo and a bunch of vendors do all kinds of stuff outside of their normal orcore market.
yuketen make all kinds of crazy footwear (pretty sure they do a vans type slip on and something else as well)
