Gotta admit, that's an odd response about the discrepancy.  Kinda cool that they are willing to go with the lower online price, rather than tell you that there's a mistake in the software and you need to pay more.

Viberg are UK sizing, so size down for your US size.

if you're doing a custom build, ask for them to send you a sizing chart where you trace your foot and send back. It takes a bit longer, but worth the wait as they'll get you the proper size.

Which reminds me; I have got to dig my measuring tape out of a drawer so that I can fill out my kit…

The sz8.5 service boots I have are narrow and long. Longer than the IHVB-01 boots I have in sz9!

^Bit late but for my vibergs, I went down .5 from my Red Wing size. I wear 7D in red wing 3141 and I have a 6.5 in Viberg.

Not sure how they compare to converse since I never wore converse shoes.
