Absolutely perfect fit for me in the XXXL! This shirt is butter-soft on the inside, but built like a tank, with great wind resistance. I wore it to Goat Rock Beach while on vacation at the Russian River in CA recently and it cut the wind wonderfully. See how I'm not suffering in this picture?

Is the cut of the work shirt much fuller than the western cut? I've only ever tried on an iron heart western and it was to slim for me. Want to pick one these up, just torn between the xl and xxl.

The work shirts tend to be cut a little blocky as compared to the westerns. I went up to a large from my typical medium and I am happy with the fit.

I have exactly the same problem. Work shirts are definitely a more fuller cut and are perfect for me (fit pics on me are a few pages back). I found the shoulders on this to be a bit bigger than my normal xl in a work shirt so I stuck with that size, however, given the thickness of the fabric I can definitely see the merits of sizing up, particularly if you want to layer it over things (FYI I normally put a tshirt under all my work shirts from IH).

I made Westerns and Work so we could accommodate different body shapes.  The difference is not massive, but still makes a difference….

I went for the xxl. I measured out an old flannel I have and the measurements of the xxl came the closest. And if it's a bit larger, I'd rather have a loose fit than too tight. Thanks for the responses.

Cheers fella, it's a beauty.  Was a bit concerned about the fit, given my western-heavy wardrobe, but it's bang on.
