NO CHALLENGE
One of the side effects of mercury poisoning is that it causes shyness, so I won’t be joining this challenge, but I realy want to say this is an awesome AWESOME idea! This entire thread is heavenly to behold. A brainchild of genius.
I’m not lying either. See, this is from the EPA:
Elemental mercury effects
Symptoms include these: tremors; emotional changes (e.g., mood swings, irritability, nervousness, excessive shyness); insomnia; neuromuscular changes (such as weakness, muscle atrophy, twitching); headaches; disturbances in sensations; changes in nerve responses; performance deficits on tests of cognitive function. At higher exposures there may be kidney effects, respiratory failure and death.Did I mention I was given mercury to play with by a teacher when I was a child?

Ok, so Tommy considers his challenge complete and that is a s good as we're getting out of him, so next up is his choice of challenge.
We spent a long time talking about this today and he came up with something he had seen on one of his weird Nickelodeon programmes, and it is called…..
"Public Grazing"
You go to a restaurant, any restaurant even a McDonalds, order some food, sit down at a table and proceed to eat it without using your hands in any way. Basically grazing like a cow in a meadow.

HOLY COW! Public grazing is a good idea, very caveman-esque!
Maybe the next challenge could be something like this:
"Animal Husbandry"
Go to a local farm, ranch, or place with cows, goats, pigs, lamas, or even dogs and proceed to approach the animal in question, assume the position, place mouth firmly around a nipple, and begin to nurse. Must enthusiastically suckle and nurse for at least 10 seconds. As an extra: make it look realy messy dripping all down your face caveman-style! Just make sure it’s a female as "nursing" a male would be a misdemeanor in some states.
Edit: Decided to change the name of the challenge to Animal Husbandry because it sounds much, much worse and therefore would make the challenge much, much better.

Tommy, many congratulations on your fine completion of the challenge, fewer on your choice of mine!
I'm prepared to do this but am already running up against the challenge of finding an available cameraperson at a mutually convenient time/place. "I'm not getting thrown out of a restaurant" being the arguably reasonable objection of one friend. Was hoping I might be able to hook up with Mega, he's busy… I'll see what I can arrange and report back.
