Truth be told, my neck has been giving me some serious gyp today.  I checked it out and it appeears that I am swimming with my head looking to far forward, I should be looking more or less straight down.  Technical fix on Sunday required.

Going to try and do a repeat of the 3 miler at 08:00 tomorrow.  The way I feel atm, could be a EFF….

Sticking to the #obvious, make sure you stretch your neck out before starting. Neck twinges are no fun.

I ducked out.  Mt neck was still giving my problems.  Although, I think I know how to modify my stroke to reduce the neck compression, I decided that on the basis that I have to stand around for 3 days at a show (the single most energy sapping activity known to man), discretion was the sensible route.  I popped down to see the others and was really pissed off as the sea looked amazing…...

Gave in to the inevitable yesterday and went to a sports physio.  She seems to have me on the path to recovery.  I'm debating whether to celebrate with a 3 miler this morning…..

I debated and decided not to risk it.  I have a physio session tomorrow and on Sunday, the first group swim with most/all of the other swimmers…..

Today is the first official training swim.  I have no idea what it involves, other than  BBQ on the beach.  I have to admit that I am feeling a little apprehensive, there will be 17 other swimmers and I guess there will be some sort of "can the silly fecker swim in a straight line" assessment going on…....I can give them the answer to that without getting wet.....

Very enjoyable, thanks.  A cloudy morning became warm and sunny and it was fun to meet the other swimmers and their families:  one of the swimmer's husbands is an Iron Heart customer!  Small world
