Spitfiredealer I tried on the big boots at giles office and they looked like ocean liners on my feet.
I always look for shoes that do not look so big on my feet. My shoe size is US. 13.

Twin , I too take  either a 12 or 13 ( depending on shoe/boots/sneaker brand ) . Have two pairs of the Redwing Blacksmith series boots (Yuma Bourbon & Briar oil slick ) . My size in both is 11.5 .

If you have a local Redwing store , give them a look and try them on .
