Because the town of Morrison shits their pants when the circus comes to town!! Phish was banned after 1996. They didnt play red rocks again until 09. I was there, all four nights, and yes, I caught the know you rider tease!! Red rocks is the shit!!!

I also have a very, very rare pollock poster from red rocks in 09. He was not the contracted artist for the concert posters, but he happened to be in the town of Morrison for an art show. If you have to ask who pollock is then you're not a real phish fan.

Dicks is kinda better for party purposes. You're right in downtown Denver, so you walk out of dicks and its party time. red rocks you have to drive back to Denver, not fun if you are having trouble seeing the road straight, which I've done
