Rising Sun and Chucks Vintage are well worth a look, get a burger at the In n' Out for your Lebowski fix and grab some alligator sausage pizza at House Of Blues on Sunset.

Those are actually different areas, but I agree the Fairmont is amazing. Hemi is talking about the WeHo area.

Catch a flick at Grauman's Chinese Theater or Arclight Hollywood. Too many good restaurants to list, but if you're in the Main St. Santa Monica/Venice area, the La Isla Bonita truck on Rose & 4th is on another level, and is a definite local favorite. They don't even advertise (not even on Twitter); no need. Ceviche, Al Pastor, and Campechana are my faves.

Thanks so much to Karen (Blackheart) for looking after me on my last day in L.A. She was kind enough to take me to Santa Monica and Malibu which were the highlights of my trip.

Karen also has an insanely impressive room full of boots, leather jackets, denim and hunting outfits… I've never seen anything like it!
