IHW-02 - Wool CPO Jacket

Thanks all! I really do love it. At first I was skeptical but that quickly passed. I have not had a chance to wear it more than around the apt. due to the new job, but believe me NOTHING stops me from wearing IH at all times of the day, no matter how small or big! I will work it into the weekday rotation. Also, the job is not permanent…..... YET.

I received this today and it fits and looks great… but as i feared the texture of the jacket kills me. As soon as i put it on with a short sleeved tshirt it felt like tons of tiny needles were poking the insides of my elbows and forearms. I don't know if i'm gonna be able to keep and wear this... i got the IHW-01 today as well and it feels very much the same. I was afraid of that... grrrr

Splattered - I'm pretty sensitive to wool too but if I wear a long sleeve underneath I don't have any problems except for the neck area of the 02.  I've been wearing the 01 almost everyday since I got it.

It is Wool…. What is it supposed to feel like? Also, what Short Sleeve shirt are you wearing underneath it, and why? If it is cold enough for the Wool Jacket, why would you be wearing Short Sleeved shirt? Also, they will soften up. Can't say that about the IHW-02 as I have only worn it once, but the IHW-01 definitely does. As nameness said, just rock a long sleeved T and "Sack Up"! It is IH if you remember.

Is the wool really that scratchy? I've had a couple other wool items, it's a little annoying at first, but it feels fine after 5 minutes or so.

The reason you'd wear a wool jacket over a short sleeve shirt is if it's cool outside and you're going to a warm inside.

I can think of a number of bars like this

Also, if I'm out hiking, I usually wear a short sleeve t directly underneath a warm jacket. This way, when I make a pit stop inside, i can lose the jacket for a couple minutes and let out some of that excess body heat faster

The IHW-01 is slightly scratchy for me, but not enough for it to bother me

i heard that wetting the wool garment and putting it in the freezer will eliminate the scratchiness because it softens the fibers, thaw it carefully cause it may break the fibers

Great choice Beats! The CPO jacket is really awesome, and I find it very strange that it hasn't sold out a long time ago. (I removed the logo on mine)
