On Simons website he sizes them as M, L, XL etc…., what would that be the equivalent to Mac? Just asking as I'm looking to pick a shirt up from Simon myself in the New Year.

Finn I think the shoulders, chest and length are the main issue really. The arms are shirred so they do balloon a bit too.

Mega this must have been a large, and the tag said 15 1/2, which is how the neck feels.

I'm going to compare the measurements against the chart after it dries from its boil soak, it really seems roomier than the measurements.

Still, even if I can't keep it it's a lovely shirt.

        Think it, be it.

"ballooning" or not…fit of the arms is out of relation to the fit of the body imo!
body fit doesn't look that bad actually, but the arms are way off...

                …

Sry to say but imo chest and shoulders are too big as well!

But this seams to be your style!

                Enjoy ya addiction!

Agreed on the shoulders particularly. That's the main issue. I pinned the edge of a shoulder up higher and it took care of the sleeve issue for the most part.

Disagree on oversized shirts being my style, I trade them away or sell them if they aren't trim. I like a shirt to be just loose enough in the body to where it doesn't bunch up when I sit down. My TW-105 fits perfectly except for the long sleeves and so I don't wear it and it's on the selling block.

                  Think it, be it.

Yeah your other fits are on point imo McKleine. This one will work out when layering though.

Thanks!  The soak helped a lot. I didn't truly boil soak yet. It may be perfect then!

I should point out that I was talking mainly about the upper portion of the arms, meant to write this but was momentarily distracted by something shiny.

I love the ballooning now that some shrinkage has dialed it back. That's one of the reasons I picked up the shirt, it's damn cool.

I am also a fan of ballooned arms, it's an authentic design feature of 50's (and earlier) era work shirts.

English cord.  Arms are dialled in and fitted, about 14oz.
You think white buttons or the black is okay?

I like the black, almost because I would expect white. If you contrast stitch white would be better, but as is black looks sleek.
