IHVB-04-b-o-t - Iron Heart/Viberg 1950's Service Boot in Brown Oil Tan
-
Hi folks,
is there anybody out there who owns a pair of Alden Indy boots (or any other model on the Trubalance last) and these beauties?
What with have you chosen for the Vibergs, D or E, to get the same comfortable feeling?Cheers
Peter -
Good call

In my Aldens there's a mark B/D, so it's a D? -
Cheers Giles.
And a 10,5 in the Alden would translate to a 10,5 in the Vibergs, right? -
I'd go 10D. US sizing is different from UK (Viberg use) sizing:
-
A quick help, pls pls pls…
I am US 8 (UK 7) in Red Wing; in IHVB-04-b-o-t ? Maybe 7.5?
-
^ i'd go with a 8.5!
i'm a UK8 in red wing and i'm wearing a 9 in all of my vibergsThanks!
But…
If UK8(RW)=UK9(V) then UK7(RW)= UK8(V); is mathematical... -
Personally, I would ignore Finn
:D. What is your Euro size….....This is a problem. Sometimes I'm 41.5, sometimes 42. I know Red Wing (US 8; UK 7) and Yuketen (US 8.5 UK dunno)
-
nope Georgi you are a 7.5 or a 7, hahahahaha
-
My little heart say "8! 8!"
-
I just ordered the last 8 left. Please, don't send anything else. In any case, thanx a lot!

-
(gasp! I'm really very excited! Brand new boots… Viberg... from IH...)
-
congrats georgeel!! you gonna love the boot.
fwiw the 1950 tends to run about a half size bigger due the the last used and shape. I am normally a 9uk in vibergs and 10us in wescos but for my 1950 viberg service, I can fit a 8uk comfortably. But if wearing a thick wool socks then it'll be a bit on the tight side but not so tight that i cannot wear them.
Hopefully it'll work fine for you and if doesn't you can always exchange them.
