@Tyler-Durden These are not my resoled pair. These are my John Lofgren Donkey Punchers. I actually have 2 pairs of these in the exact same color - Natural CXL. One pair is 8.5, the other is 9. Long story short, I won an auction after placing an order… and now I have 2. They both fit fine. I suppose I’m in between sizes.
But I don’t need both pairs. I might make them available in the classifieds, and whichever size doesn’t get sold, I’ll just keep the other.
Oh yeah, I went with Navy. Thank you sir!

Hey y’all,
Got an update with a progress photo from Unsung today. I’m thinking they should be back to me this time next week. Very happy with the the way these are looking so far.
Communication had been excellent. Every detail in question is asked of me via an email from Unsung with clear descriptions of my options and a clarifying picture.
To bring everyone back up to speed, these began their life as a simple pair of White’s Hathorn Fire boots. Unlined, 12” shaft.
I asked to have them cut down, rewelted with a brown, double stitched flat welt, jade Dr Sole half sole and heel, single leather midsole and natural waxed edges.

He’s had so many better ideas than my original vision. Yet he hasn’t strayed far at all… Ya know, the sort of “je ne sais quoi ” that a master cobbler brings to the table. I’m so pumped about the continuous comms.
