I didn't want to clutter up the Wesco or whites thread with this question so I'll ask here.

Wesco Jobmaster vs Whites Bounty Hunters for everyday abuse and work. The Wesco look heavy duty with the stitching and everything which I'm into. But I also like the stream line of the bounty hunter.

Can anyone with both chime in and comment which they prefer and why?

Have both, like both - wouldn't want to choose.  Get one of each!  Comfort-wise I love the "arch-ease" extra support of White's but it's not everyone's cup of tea.  White's might be a tad less costly but you shouldn't let that be the deciding factor. I'd read the threads and see what catches your eye and appeals most to you visually and aesthetically…

P.S. half (or more) of the fun is the search!  Read the threads!

That's what i have been doing, and researching the leather options for both. I think it's going to come down to which one will fit me better. I sent an email out to Baker so just waiting to hear back and then pull the trigger.

I know I'm going to send up with both at some point. So I may go with whites initially because they're slightly cheaper and you get more options for the price. Then go all out on a custom fit pair of wescos!

I sent my beloved Russell Mocs back for their 3rd rebuild in 5 or 6 years….Amazed at how good they look....

But, I did take the opportunity of getting another pair made at the same time "just in case"…..

Love it G! I was thinking of doing the same last week, but don't want to go without mine! How quick was your turnaround on the new ones?

@Giles if I wanted to order a pair of these, what are they actually called? I had a quick look through the Russell Moccasin website but not sure that I saw that exact makeup.

@Giles thanks, and for reference what size are you in these?
Going 1/2 size up from you seemed to work for my Vibergs, so I'd assume that would hold true here

A favourite in my collection is a pair of hand made in New Zealand, McKinlays.  These ones were custom made for the 'Bureau Belfast'.  Very light, very comfortable and in my opinion pretty stylish.

Thanks. They are very nice Russell's. I always think Russell's look better on the Munson last for some reason.
