Yes it is tough - I've worn my Viberg HH engineers about the same amount of times as my Road Champs - the RCs are getting soft and looking a bit "worn" - but the HHs still look brand new.

Its obviously the way the 7161 junky is built with the selvedge inseam on both of the innerlegside compared to the og pair. Lamdog is this correct?

i love the rc high instep strap , the shape is more good looking

but mccoy chippewa is more comfy , the BILTRITE cork sole is very soft

after some use, i think i will resole mine like this  ↓↓↓↓↓

Wow!  Based on the look of the shafts I'd "guess" cowhide - horsehide is sooo tough.  Great score - those are beauties.
