Sorel
-
Hey all.
I'm probably jumping the gun a bit but it's cooold here this morning! I live in the French Alps and need some serious snow boots. It seems Sorel are as good as it gets. Looking mainly at the Caribou model. Does anybody know how they come up size-wise? Any opinions with regards to quality?
Cheers -
I didn't find them particularly wearer-friendly. Instead I'd opt for some thick Wigwam socks and a doomsday-esque hiking boot with all the bells and whistles. (Gore-Tex lined, semi-insulated, optimum traction Vibram sole etc.)

Sorels are pretty popular in Toronto in the winter, but I would go with what TresUncool says. Sorels may look the part, but I'd rather have a tech'd out boot with a less cumbersome profile.

I really love the single piece upper Danners, with gore tex. they are technical enough but look classic.

Bertoni i actually bought the sorel to be more winter active outdoors for example mountains with my dog, but i have some issues with some of my bones not allowing me do heavier stuff so i have my trusted vibergs, buco etc for my easier activities around my place. They are securing my feet enough.
If my size could fit you then pm me
