Having 6-8 weeks of work done on my house. Three builders at a time. New bathroom, building a new toilet room downstairs, two new doors out to the back garden, new floors in five rooms, and decorating throughout. Two weeks in and here is the progress.

Finished bedroom painted and new floors.

Early work on new bathroom upstairs. Travertine and freestanding bath in.

New WC downstairs toilet room. This is an area of the kitchen extension to the old victorian terrace house. There is currently a shower room at the end of the extension. That shower room will be removed to make way for a sitting area at the end of the kitchen with big French doors opening out to the garden. Toilet with built in sink takes up less space.

Bought some oversized Luminarc bowls and decided to get some plants for it. They'll grow over the bowls, eventually. It'd take me longer to repot them...

When I was in Melbourne recently, I saw the Cassina Soriana chair in a limited-edition Japanese selvedge finish. Shame they pre-distressed the fabric.

It was nice to get some professional photographs taken for posterity, however the 2 x days of cleaning that Mrs Trash insisted on before the photographer turned up was a PITA.
