IH-531 - Wabash Chore Jacket
-
So what's it going to hit on the wallet G? Little less than the 531?
Also, I'm assuming the sizing is the same as the 531? -
Very tempting! Wish these had a corduroy collar and inner pocket and ideally some inner lining for warmth. But very sweet nonetheless.

You can pick up Carhartt Chorey's like that easy. This cut slides a steamer on them though. I'm flogging a sand beige Carhartt heritage chorey on eBay now actually.

Could not resist and pulled the trigger on the beige 532
Figured I'll wear the wabash to work and the duck on any other day. Also, thinking of having some lining inserted on the 532 if I can find a trustworthy tailor. Can't wait till it gets here -
I'm jealous!!

Thanks mate!
I have to say I wouldn't have been even mildly interested, had you not shared that link. Much appreciated -
No worries mate! Glad I could help

IH-532 L Beige quick fit pic -
Thanks for the comment Finn666. I agree it does look 1 size too big. Possibly caused by the duck still being too "fresh". I tried the 531 wabby in both L and M and ended buying the L which was clearly the better fit. Measurement are supposely the same on the 532. I'll measure both tonight and a hopefully post better pics. I'll be looking forward to your valuable opinion!

It does look a tad bigger?? How does it feel? Maybe because the colour it looks bigger??
Looks killer though. Ride em horsey!! Yeeha!! -
I think if the beige was a medium it would look mad. The Wabby is a given for a killer choice though.
-
definitely a vote to size down one from me. the duck looks a tad dumpy, sorry mate.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the helpful feedback. Sadly I have to agree…I'm returning the duck. Not happy to let it go, such a killer fabric.. I'm keeping the wabash though
but not sizing down. The chest was too tight on the M. Besides I'm not 100% sure but I think a classic chore jacket should feel like you're "swimming" a bit in it, at least visibly roomier than a normal jacket? The arms look especially wide as if designed to be worn over other jackets. I like it
Would really recommended that duck to anyone on the borderline. It made me willing to suddenly invest in 2 chore jackets at the same time!
