Unsanforized raw would be fucking sweet for the fades.
One wash will make no difference to how it fades….On the basis that it should be soaked/washed before wear anyway...
If just to annoy Giles, I'll second a interest in an insulated "storm rider," perhaps with some of that alpaca he found in Peru and of course a corduroy collar
