I think it crossed my path via a recommendation from a member on nomeansno's messageboard, but this was a at least two years ago. If VLV has been around that long then maybe it was the same board (love the minimalism and somewhat recall the grey color), but I can't be sure. If I'm misremembering, it doesn't matter cause I've already taken interest in a few threads.

Michael Alden, the founder, has been talking to me about doing a collab for his members.
Michael received a pair of 634S yesterday and was blown away with the quaility of the denim and the craftsmanship. This guy deals with some of the most gifted bespoke tailors in the world, so he knows what he is looking at/talking about.
Expect a tapered 55 cut with highish rise soon.

i used to spend too much time on skullbrain.org which is a japanese toy message board. then i got the boot. so i hang out over here on occasion and over at chopcult which is a motorcycle board.
