Saw the Nucleus Paragon for the first time in a coffee shop in Tokyo, not sure about it yet but nerdish as I am I think I will get one...

@ChrisC that's a manual Espresso lever press.
ROK has been around for a decade or so, probably most similar to Cafelat Robot in looks and not unlike Flair.
purely manual, you use hot water to pre-warm the unit. a few aftermarket upgrades and you're ready to go.
grinding is manual in our house, too...
