PBO-001 PBJ/BlueOwl collab. Slim tapered OD. 2 years old, somewhere between 150-200 wears, 2 washes…..

Wondering if anyone can help weigh in on sizing for my first pair of PBJ - looking at the SR-019 and am torn between 34 and 36. I wear a 34 in the IH 633 cut. Thanks!

edit: after trying on all of my 633s I decided I wouldn't mind a little extra room in the waist  😃 - 36 it is!

A local denim shop was running a crazy sale and I picked up these xx-019 for $75+tax can’t believe it!! I feel like a got a killer deal and love the jeans. I believe they are once washed as they fit like a 32, even if they shrank a bit more they would be completely fine. I’m typically a 31/32 waist.

The PBG’s indigo tee is just insane…great quality, beautiful texture.

@Cskarev Do you know what the weight of these tees is? Can't seem to find any information on that. And how does the sizing compare to IH or Merz?
I'm eyeing the overdyed indigo t-shirt...

Size wise they go from 1 to 6. 6 fits like an IH 3xl or 4xl. 5 is closer to IH 2xl and 3xl..You get the idea. Depends on.the tshirt the weights are different. I have a couple from their collaboration with Okayama denim and the texture is beautiful.

@tody in terms of sizing I have Merz and PBJ (PBJ size 4 according to the scale shared by @yannis ) in L size and they both fit perfectly, so I can say that at least for me they are very similar. In terms of weight I would say the PBJ is a bit heavier than the 6,5 oz IH tee but not much heavier.
Overall I am super happy with the quality and look of the PBJ tees. I bought another one in lighter blue and it also looks super cool…

@tody, my experience is similar to @Cskarev - I have a few PBJ tees in 4/L and I take L or XL in Merz depending on the cut. If it's the black indigo one you're looking at, I think you'll be very happy with it. I picked one up recently and the colour presents as a really intense black initially. I've not washed mine yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing how the indigo expresses itself over time.

I'll add to the sentiments that PBJ jeans are well worth the money. Especially their slubby jeans, they really love to create texture and IMHO are the best in the game at the slubby stuff. I don't have any of their regular fabric jeans so I can't speak to that but I have this pair and absolutely love them. I was really happy when got my IH555 jeans because the fit is really close to this pair of PBJ... Right now I'm in a 3 jean rotation of an 17oz pair of IH 888, 21oz pair of 555s and these.

As luck would have it, I'm wearing these jeans today...hopefully you can see the texture on the material. It really is something special and they are about as comfortable a jean as I own.

Here’s what happened to my PBJ Indigo tee over the past few years 😬

Love it so much I just had to pay Statement a visit and grab the Long Sleeve version.

Still going strong. Just a minor hole in the arm pit but held its shape amazingly well.

Curious to see how yours are going @Cskarev @tody @Dmart @ARNC

@weftyarn I have a few now (different variants) but none have faded anything like yours despite regular use/washing. Not sure what you’re doing in yours (or maybe you have a particularly brutal washing machine) but it looks great. Planning on wearing mine for a good while yet.

I just wear the hell out of it. And I have a feeling that sun exposure plays a big role. It’s one of my go to summer tees because of the lower weight.

You have the OD version too? Got that a few weeks back and looking forward to see how it evolves 🙂
