I think the price for what I want is very good, look at the price of the Sebastian Tarek boots that Graeme has ordered for a comparison on true bespoke footwear.

I will also be on a train heading North from Tokyo the next time I am in town, unfortunately for me that more than likely will not be this year.

The only trouble is you don't have the corresponding experience of re-attaching them. Plus it'd be really awkward to fit into a pair of made-to-measure shoes without the feet they were intended for.
