Will these stretch in the waist? If so, approximately how much please?

The duck fabric is by far not as stretchable as denim but I managed to squeeze one solid inch of stretch in the waist with wear on my pair.

Hi @Alex_24 There is going to be super minimal stretch with this duck fabric. You could perhaps eek out 0.5" - 1" max.

Not answering for Dion, but my IH-666D (same material) stretch about an inch, maybe a little less, after every wash. They stretch quite readily (after only two or three days of wear) but stop stretching a little quicker than denim, because it isn't a twill weave.

My black 816 measured 33.8 when i got them 3 or 4 months ago they now measure 35.5. They were tight on me when i first got them I'm not sure if they stretch more in that circumstance or not. I know denim will usually stretch more if it needs to. I also didn't check that they actually measured 33.8 when i got them i just trusted what the card i recieved with the pants said

With all due respect, I’d say there’s some faulty comparative data in there somewhere. Duck stretching over 1.5” seems highly unlikely to me. All it would take is you and the person who measured at IHUK to measure from a slightly different spot.

I wasn't saying the were measured wrong by anyone. Im saying that the card said 33.8 and they now measure 35.5. I measured them the IH way but i also tried fairly hard to stretch the shit out of them.

Not saying anyone did anything “wrong”, just that it wouldn’t take more than slight changes in measuring styles (for example stretching/not stretching pants) to create a half an inch difference thus creating a fault in the comparison.

Yes you might be right… i understand what you mean. So it would be safe to say i only got an inch just incase there is some kind of measuring variance or someone is not as dedicated to getting more than an inch out of them.
