Mineral crystal's harder than hardlex right, or not?.. I like the slightly bigger and heavier black'un a bit more I think…

Hardlex is Seiko's proprietary version of mineral crystal.  It's supposedly a bit harder, but I don't have any personal experience with it.

IME Hardlex is a (little) bit more resilient than generic mineral.

And ordered… My brother's paying me 100 € for the Weil as well, so this is a cheap purchase  🙂

I like the look of the orange so much I ordered this today.

Might consider getting a maratac strap or leather strap later on.

Thanks Chris. This was helpful. I'm used to sapphire so I hope I don't crack this fucker within a week…

I think I've seen this one mentioned in here before but fairly cheap. I like a lot though

I wore my Riki auto yesterday. Simple, accurate, and keeps my attention as well as any of my watches. And btw, thanks a lot Ben now I think I'm going to sell my PAM 380 to get that Grand Seiko…. 🙂

Well, even if you do, one of the nice things about Seiko is that parts are generally dirt cheap, and virtually any watch seller/repair shop can swap out a crystal in no time.

In fact, you could probably find someone who will put a sapphire crystal it for you.  They're not that expensive, really.
