Watches - another OCD problem

That is a lovely watch you've got there, loghill. Classic chronograph design. Late 60s, is it?

What do you guys think of the Luminox 1848.
I dig this style but the price seems a bit high at 450, is it worth it, or are there any similar watches?

I've always been a big fan of the German stuff…Sinn, Stowa, and the independents like Thomas Ninchritz, Dornbluth, etc. Lately my day to day has been my Sinn 757, a TN Regulateur, PAM 000 (non German I know), or a Sinn EZM3. I also love the high end Japanese pieces, especially the high end quartz models. My EDC for about a year was a Citizen Chronomaster (was +1 sec/year on my wrist!). I am still working out how to post pics, but I have some to share.

These are my current two favorites along with a Sinn U1, a Sinn 757, Doxa Sub, and Rolex Explorer. The above are a Thomas Ninchritz regulateur and an Ennebi Fondale, the movement on the TN is just gorgeous!

The Ennebi looks fabulous. I did not know the brand until now - looking at their website revealed some interesting watches…
Here are two more from my watch vault:
This is a watch I inherited from my uncle - not very pricey in terms of money but priceless to me. It was his first "real" watch when he finally earned some money as a radio and TV technician in the Fifties after the grim post-war years.
This is my "daily driver", trusty old Sinn Chrono with the same case as the Heuer Bundeswehr, but with a automatic movement:

That's a lovely pair. I actually like the watch from your uncle a lot. Always loved the tricompax layout for chronographs.
-
Excellent decision. Is it a Venus movement? Those will run forever with just a minimum amount of care.
