There are well documented chapter ring alignment issues with this model that may niggle you if you get one that's not bang on @Giles  (it would bother me).  Worth buying in person if you can - you can see the one @Anesthetist has posted the pic of is quite a way off at 12 o'clock.

Having said that, at $250 (plenty less than I paid), it's a great watch either way.  Looks great on the bracelet, a NATO or an Isofrane-style rubber strap (which is what mine's on).

Tag Heuer have just announced the Modular, their second generation smartwatch. The big news is that it's possible to swap out the electronic module for a mechanical unit, including their tourbillon.

I dropped into a watch shop on the way home today.

Cartier Diver's Watch with the blue dial. This looked really nice.

Vintage styled IWC chronograph. I don't know what the model is, but it had a really nice quilted strap.

The Tag Heuer Connected Modular was only announced a few days ago, and it's already on sale. Only the basic watches were in stock, the bundles aren't out yet.

Speaking of smart watches, Montblanc have just announced the Summit. It's similar to the Tag Heuer Connected, though without an obvious upgrade path.

The Connected uses an Intel chip, but the Summit has a Qualcomm part. It's also got a heart rate sensor on the back, which is missing from the Tag.
