I get the impression that I am getting nudged somewhat here!

One Lange in the collection is enough for now,….............................he says while wondering if trading the entire collection would net him a Zeitwerk????  Sadly the answer is no, entire collection plus one or two organs might though?

@Graeme  Damnit man stop it!  😠

There is no 'I' in team …............ however there are five in 'individual brilliance'.

You could always trade down the house to something that doesn't need any DIY on it, and free up capital for a Zeitwerk. 😛

Details of the new Ploprof are up on aBlogToWatch.

Essentially it's the same as the old one, but with a titanium case, Master Chronometer movement as per the Globemaster, and in a choice of four colours.

It's completely impractical and has far too much writing on the dial.

            I love it.

Finally, got myself another (pocket) watch after more than 30 years without a proper watch. (If you don't count the Baby-G, that I used for swimming.)
              Let's see how it goes…

              March Lab - 1805

Don't get me wrong, it is a pretty pocket watch but almost 1300$ with a quartz movement?

                      Nice looking watch @FOXY .

There's a gentleman in Poland who makes wrist cases for pocket watches, if you want to wear it on a strap. The only trouble is that they get can quite large.

A couple of pictures for illustration. Bear in mind that I'm a bit bigger than average. 🙂

This is an LUC Tribute with a nearly 50 mm case.

And the Hermes In The Pocket, which is around 40 mm. This is a similar style to the Polish ones, albeit at a somewhat higher price point…

Oh yeah, note the lack of writing on the dials of the above. 😛

Neither are cheap pieces. That's why I don't own either of them. 😞

Another watch without much text on the face is the Zenith El Primero Chrono Classic. I don't know much about it apart from it using their El Primero movement. I'm really liking the minimalist look that they've adopted.

The one I saw must have been a limited edition or something. 495 is much more palatable 🙂

Paula's completely fecked Breitling Chronomat;  knackered pushers and rusted movement, is being completely rebuilt.  New movement, new pushers, general overhaul, etc.  USD500…...being done by an apprentice in his spare time....  Amazed.

@Friday that Grand Seiko is very nice. Even if it's got War and Peace on its dial. 😉

@Giles I'm glad to hear that the Breitling is getting fixed. Mine cost about £500 to get serviced and the glass replaced.
