Thanks all.  Gotta love the first week with a pair of serious jeans.  They don't even feel like something you should have on your legs… and then the magic happens.

Agreed - it is a perfect description.

Personally, although I love to have well-worn and faded jeans, the first 4-6 weeks of wear are the most fun for me. That's when you discover how the denim will behave, and whether the fit is really gonna work. And when the first signs of fading appear around the pockets and the knees (or apparently near the dick in Seul's case) it's an exhilarating feeling that justifies the addiction.

          Fuck I'm poetic today.  😛

Yeah those first weeks are fun… But seriously, after a year (exactly today!) of wearing my 25 oz. 666-XHS'es, I prefer how they feel and behave these days!.. I can actually go down stairs and tie my shoes!..

I hear you! First few times I put boots on in my 634S on I needed my fly unbuttoned.

Just to dispel a myth about this denim, it stretches quite well. I really struggled to do mine up when I first got them, but now they are extremely comfortable.

^ I sized down from my 'other' 634s's based on the long term stretch :). I think they're perfect and 'stuff' [maybe a little frazzled]

I ended up playing several impromptu games of basketball tonight with some boys at work in these jeans.  I can already tell they are going to be stubbon-as-nails to fade, and I love them for it.

How does this 23 Oz fabric breathe compared to the 21 Oz fabric of the 634S? Is the 23 Oz equally comfortable to wear in the summer like the 21 Oz in 634S? Thanks.

23oz. seems to be "tighter" than the 21oz as Mega spoke on earlier.  I'll be trying to wear mine year-round but I can tell already its gonna be a hot time in da cit-ay.

Sherdil - you asked effectively exactly the same question in 4 threads.  That is completely unnecessary and annoys other members.  Ask the question once in the appropriate thread or in random questions like you have been asked to do before…

Have to say, I think this denim might "give up the goods" quite easily. I'm really interested to see how yours go Jake, as you will definitely put a hurting on yours before I do on mine.

Do they get a lot softer after a year or kinda the same to the touch?

If its the same denim as the sexihxlsxa13, fades FAST and with electric blue authority with heavy wear and usage of course, much faster then the 25oz

the surface of the garment feels a lot softer after five months of wear. My 634xhs became pretty comfy. No problem to wear these chillin on the couch while video gamin over a weekend…

                                        why so serious?

Why?  There's no real improvement in structural integrity, so it's really just an aesthetic touch.  I've seen it on $40 pants, so it doesn't really do much for me.
